Use the WSL command line utility unix2dos to convert the line endings of the 
downloaded file(s).

The problem is with using wsl ftp as a solution on Windows to the problem with 
Windows FTP not supporting passive mode. The destination of the files is 
Windows, not Linux, so we want CRLF endings.

Those are the correct line endings for ASCII text files on Windows and Linux 
respectively.

What problem does anyone have with that?
