Our DBA group recently completed their migration from Db2 V12 to Db2 V13R1M0 function level 507. Our group had to put on hold our migration from z/OS 2.4 to 3.1, until the DBA group completed their migration. We notified the DBA group that we were ready to move forward, since they were finished. They in turn asked what Db2 maintenance might need to be applied to support z/OS 3.1.
When i installed Db2 V13R1 for them late last year, using zOSMF, I pulled all the Db2 PTFs that were available at that time and applied them to Db2 V13R1. I did the same when I installed z/OS 3.1 late last year. In my humble opinion, I think we should be fine. Does IBM publish a matrix that would address this question? Thanks in advance.
