Suggest you look at the restrictions on the debugger you are using.

You may find that (1) can't be used if code is authorized or is in Key0

(2) does not support multi-tasking.

When IBM acquired Sterling Commerce, we demonstrated to them that our code functioned in Key 0, Supervisor state, and was multi-taksing/threaded. That got us permission to continue with z/XDC.

So if you are using TEST Auth, I think it is not supported for multi-tasking (I don't have the doc available to me right now).

Hi

I have a Zpdt system and I mainly use TEST debug it

But I have been getting abends that don’t make sense I’m sure it has to do that
the reason behind is because it is a multitasking application

Is there anything out there beside XDC

That would work better maybe debug tool

Thanks
