General Availability is planned for this week (May 15, 2026). This deployment option supports IBM Confidential Computing containers when Red Hat OpenShift runs in “bare metal” LPARs on IBM z17 and LinuxONE 5 servers. It also improves performance and lifts some prior persistent storage limits.
