Whoosh! Adam Smith supported government intervention. Defense of free markets i
not socialism.

Not Adam Smith but plenty of former capitalist on IBM-main. Funny how that
works. People who regularly swear by capitalism, suddenly wanting government to
stop the capitalist because it came for them. If you look at most of the rest
of the world, social democracies are not only better for the majority, their
quality of life is far better. Higher taxes are offset by free healthcare, free
education, better infrastructure, more paid time off, maternity time off for
both the mother and father. I’ve been to many of those countries. Sweden,
Norway, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, &
others. It’s better there.

This is hilarious. You guys used to be huge capitalists. Now that capitalism
has come for you, suddenly socialism is looking better.

Also, the rules should allow an H1B employee to change jobs without penalty if

I agree.  I'd agree even more strongly if it were scrubbed of
nationalism.  Equal pay for equal work should apply alike
regardless of demographics.
