I'm afraid I couldn't persist with the (entire) PCRE thread - my bad. From my perspective getting *any* regex into our mundane environment is worthwhile. I can't wait to get the ISPF edit support in 2.1 - I may even start doing stuff on z/OS again instead of zLinux. Where I make extensive use of regex every day.
