Free advice is often only worth the price, but for what its worth, I
recommend you run 100 and then 200 transactions/functions and then subtract
the difference to get the actual cost of the 100 actual events you want to
measure, to thus eliminate the start up and shutdown costs (which for some
transactions, can be 90% of the cost of a single transaction!).
