Authorized Program Facility (APF)
The authorized program facility (APF) limits the use of
sensitive system and (optionally) user services and resources to
authorized system and user programs. The authorization consists
of a code that is specified when the program is link edited. For
a program to be authorized, it must be link edited with this
code and reside in either the SYS l.LINKLIB or SYS l.SVCLIB data
sets, or the link pack area. The SYSl.LINKLIB, SYSl.SVCLIB,
and SYSl.LPALIB
