If you could post the entire Summary details from SYSLOG it would help. When was the last time it was successfully IPL'd? And JES2 started?
Since you say there is no ability for a SADUMP, this will be much more difficult. Just to make sure There were no changes to central storage allocation to this lpar? There were no changes to the LOAD parm There were no changes to ESA or CSA (no additional modules)? No changes to the JES2 deck No changed or new JES2 Exits No changed or new MVS Exits No new hardware added No new products added? No new maintenance added? If you do not have the syslog from the start up, it would be difficult to say if the S878 is from JES2 start up or other abends prior to JES2 startup See if you can unload the Software records from LOGREC and see if there were a rash of abends prior to JES2 startup.
