Is the address specified exist in the I/O configuration? D U,,,xxxx,1 gives back valid information. If so, what is it's status? It needs to be OFFLINE before it can be varied as a CONSOLE. And it needs to be specified in the CONSOLxx member which was specified at IPL time.
