Thank you everyone for the inputs . We would be doing this for all program
products and most of them are indirectly catalogued using &SYSR1 .

Answers for some of Lizette's questions :

1) What files are allocated and which are not

Ans : I haven't checked all of them yet . Will let you know that once i'm
done

2) Can they be moved without an IPL, or would an IPL be required ?

Ans : Our customer has an IPL window every week . so , we will be doing
this with an IPL

3) What tools are available to move the file

Ans :We would be using ADRDSSU to move the files

4) Any hidden issues - users that have jcl that might not be relying on the
normal catalog process.?

Ans :Thats a good point . I'am yet to find that out

5) Any files in APF list, Linklst, in LLA

Ans : Yes . There are .

Thanks a ton !

Baby
