Doesn't impress the saner folks in USA either. Unfortunately there are
many in Ted's flock who were asleep during their Civics/Government
classes who will think a long irrelevant Senate speech which is already
guaranteed to end with a vote at a scheduled time is somehow equivalent
to a "heroic" open-ended filibuster; and who totally miss the irony of
his reciting as a time-filler in this context the Dr Suess "Green Eggs
and Ham" poem, a metaphor for the stupidity of opposing something one is
unwilling to try and will like after trying.
