Yes, that was me. The post yesterday was quoted from the ISPF manual. I found an old (1994) manual for ISPF 4.1 with those numbers. The change summary included a note that the limit of 255 had been removed in that release. The z/OS 1.13 edition of the manual has the same numbers. Sorry for the confusion.
