I should think that Unicode meets the vocabulary requirements,
and that editors successfully deal with the presentation problem
with no <shift-in>-shift-out sequences (example: Gadi's name,
cribbed from an earlier message די בן אבי).  I'm Hebrew-illiterate;
others will need to judge the presentation.
