Commercial product and I don't want to use a SVC.

I'm kinda leaning toward a PC but was hoping there was an easier way. 

This will (for the most part ..) be purely batch.,..

First question: your shop or commercial?

If your shop, why not the old-fashioned SVC? Simple set-up.

A PC is your other choice and unless you do tricky stuff will need a server
address space as its owner.

Under TSO, you can use the parallel TMP
