Hello experts, A customer needs to be able to set up HSM ABAR to non-zero return code when serialization failed for a file or files in the ABACKUP.
As we understand ABACKUP has two option to decide wether to catalog its tape data file. It is based om the Management Class Serialization option. If it is set up to Continute, return code of the ABACKUP command (HSMABAR job) is zero even if there are one or more serialization failures. We need to be able to set up non zero return code in those cases when serialization failed but still to allow HSMABAR job to catalog the tape data file DSNAME. I hope I managed to explain my request.
