Hi, We are again going to be handing out coupons at Share in LA for a free copy of any ONE of our automation software products, and I remember that last time I did this (2010) I received a bunch of calls and email from people after the fact who felt they were "left out and/or screwed" just because they didn't or couldn't attend Share that time.
So this time I wanted to make the offer ahead of time so that (hopefully) I won't get so many complaints about the coupons. Any way, to receive one, you have to be either a member of Share OR have an active ID on IBM-MAIN. I am assuming that if you are reading this that you are one or the other. The offer expires when Share in LA is over, and this time there is no exceptions. :) The license is by physical CPU, not LPAR, and the size of the CPU is not a factor for any of our software. The only actual restriction is that we do not allow virtual servers (i.e HERCULES/390 under this offer), just real z/series boxes. The normal cost for these products are between $1,500 and $5,000, depending on the product. (SyzMail/z is much cheaper, and is not meant to be a standalone product, it is an add-on for the other products, it's listed separately here only because Cut/paste was easier than typing:).
