Please skip all the comments about still using 3174's we are well aware, The question is, is anyone using Optica Prizm FICON to ESCON converters that have 3174's hooked to them ? We are having issues since cutting over from our z/196 that was using ESCON point to point, To our Z/12 which no longer supports that, so we had to bring in the Optica Prizm boxes, for these And a few other ESCON attached devices, while we convert off of them. Timing didn't allow us to do this prior. We are getting lost dev chan end, we have tried numerous things such as adjusting the MIH The issue seems to be more relevant on our Z/os consoles.
