Weird slippery slip, but then you have a good reason for that. ;-)

As documented in MVS System Commands (v1.12):

"RANGE is not valid for error event traps. RANGE cannot be specified on an 
ACTION=IGNORE storage alteration PER trap."

I believe this could be the reason for IEE739I.
