Sorry, CA, but I don't like EARL. And I am no longer very CA-1 literate. What I would like to do is to be able to unload the TMC to a "flat file" which is columnar. I would like something akin to what IRRDBU00 does for the RACF data base. I could then write a simple program to read the data in the columns and insert it into my favorite data base (in my case PostgreSQL on Linux).
Is there a simple way to do this? I have used an EARL program, but that results in a "report" which is limited in line length (too short) and has "junk" in it (page headings). No, I don't want to write an HLASM program to do it myself, but will if that is the only answer. -- There is nothing more pleasant than traveling and meeting new people!
