Well, there seems to be some interest, if I can do it well enough. My first
order of business is to read up on DFSORT. I know the basics, but not much
about the exits. I am especially concerned about the compatibility with C
and the use of POSIX(ON) for UNIX and POSIX(OFF) for legacy. And how to
implement some features which, in COBOL, are done using "special
registers". <sigh/> design is not my strong suit. "I'm a sysprog, Jim! not
a software engineer!"
