So the DSA areas (pardon the redundancy) are fixed-size areas of Virtual
Storage and CICS suballocates within them. The OP is talking about how
much of a particular DSA (and several) is suballocated. And NOT how much
of virtual available is allocated to DSA.

Or at least that would be the usual CICS-centric question - and I agree
with Lizette that CICS-L is a more fertile place for this discussion. (Not
that I can answer THIS question but I also participate in CICS-L.)

It clear what You are asking ...
89% of What ?
Are You saying 80% DSA of the Private Area ?
Please elaborate.

Dear folks,

Do you have any good idea to set CICS DSA usage to 80%?

We have a CICS monitor tool and set the DSA usage threshold value 80%.
Then we want to improve the DSA usage of our running CICS AOR to this
value in order to trigger the threshold?

The CEMT INQUIRE DSAS is not good to change the current DSA value I think.
So is there any user wirtten program to get this goal?

Appreciate your advices. Thank you!
Alex
