At what point will z CP's go the way of CKD DASD?   Running z emulation layer 
on IBM Power hardware.  At the low end, it could provide  an 'affordable'  
entry level system into z.   At the high end a Power 795 with 256 cores and 
16TB could run some pretty good sized z/OS systems, even with the overhead of 
emulation.
