All, We have had folks notice some JES2 data areas that have changed in z/OS V2.1. Because of that, we had intended to add a new JES2 migration action to the z/OS V2,1 Migration book on the next refresh. It was to have been fairly general, and just point you to the "JES2 exit migration considerations" section of the JES2 Exits book.
We (including Tom Wasik) decided on that direction to avoid duplication of changed JES2 data areas information, since the JES2 Exits book was really a better place to document it, and the information could get quite extensive possibly. (If the invocation of an exit changed, though, that would definitely be put in the z/OS Migration book.) Since we've seen at least two comments on this already, we won't wait for the refresh of the book, and will prepare a PSP bucket entry. fwiw: we may mention a couple of changed fields specifically (not to duplicate, but to give a couple subset examples).
