You can simply pay for the conference. It costs more if your company is not a member. It is not required that the company send you, AFAIK. As long as your company is a member, you can attend and pay the member price. If you are working at company X as a contractor, you can still attend as a member as long as company X is a member. >What about SHARE materials (presentations) ? The presentations are mostly PDF files these days, though a few still had handouts (paper) the last time I went. >I did some research (I couln't call it RTFM, because there is no FM) and >I found "special offering" for $7000 (valid two years - but for what?) Hell >expensive IMHO! The last time I looked, I thought that the "SHARE Live" was not a good deal, at least for me. It's about a third of the price for maybe a tenth of the available sessions. Very possibly not the ones that would interest you. It has been two years since I last went to SHARE, and none of the sessions that I attended was recorded, except for the Keynote session. -- Tom Marchant ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
