Hi, We have six MAN datasets spread across three volumes; I notice that the ‘I SMF’ command switches between only the first and second MAN datasets. Is there any doc, explaining how SMF processes the MAN datasets? On our two production systems a ‘Z EOD’ command is issued when the system comes down for an IPL, when will SMF write to MAN3, 4, etc.? On our systems programming LPAR, where no ‘Z EOD’ is issued, I do see SMF writing to MAN datasets beyond MAN2, when the system is IPL’d.
