Are you sure it wasn't HFS? It shouldn't be possible to create a zFS
without creating a VVR in a VVDS, and it shouldn't be possible to
access one if there isn't a VVR for it.
Are you sure that there isn't a VVDS? Could it simply be uncataloged?
