How can I make this new proposed changes.
The requirement is either misunderstood or impossible to fulfill.
Note, the 1000BasetT Express3 card is tricky to understand.
Physically it is one "long" card.
The card has 4 ports, but only two CHPIDs.
From HCD/IODF point of view each CHPID is separate, independent device.
Each CHPID has it's own CU, each CU has several devices defined.
So you cannot assign a CHPID to port.
What you can do is to use some IOdevices for Port 0, and some other
devices for Port 1.
However ther is no IODF parameter which could allow you to assign given
device to a given port. It is up to TCPIP profiles.
Example:
OSA 1000BaseT Express3, long card
PCHID 110 and 111 (you cannot change it - it depends on the slot)
CHPIDs: 10 and 11
for CHP 10:
CU 0110
100 devices defined UA=00-63 (hex), device numbers: 1000-1063
That's end of IODF definitions.
FUrther, in TCP config file you can assign devices 1000,1001,1002 for
port 0 and 1020, 1021, 1022 for port 1.
