Basically we just want IBM to indicate that they approve of BASH so that the hide bound corporate types in our company management will agree to let us install it. Of course, at my current employer, I can install anything that I want so long at it is zero cost. They neither know, nor care, about such things. Mainly because I'm wise enough to not use it in production. But, then, our application programmers are not UNIX literate. And the others in Tech Support dislike UNIX because, as one of them said, it is not the same as Windows (he was complaining about the / vs. \ directory separator at the time).
