As gil indicated, in the ftp, do

QUOTE STRU R
BIN
GET MVS.FILE

On the other end, do the same, but do a PUT instead of a GET (u know that,
just being complete). On the upload, u also need a QUOT SITE to set the
allocation and DCB parameters as well (again just being complete)
