We have a long running subsystem that recently experienced a failure due to bad return code from ALESERV ADD. The subsystem creates and deletes dataspaces throughout the day as normal processing, so over time apparently the access list filled and no more free entries were available. The vendor is adding code to capture info at the time of failure (they weren't doing it before), but I'd like to be able to test or display the contents/status of the access list to get a feel if we are approaching another failure. It doesn't look like the ALESERV macro has any facilities to query the number of access list entries in use. ARCHECK under IPCS doesn't seem to do what I want either. Does anyone know of any way to get information about task's access list status?
