Subject: Clarification Of STORAGE OBTAIN Parameters

Looking for some clarification rearding STORAGE OBTAIN.
.
.
Two Storage OBTAIN Macros

STORAGE OBTAIN,LENGTH=(R0),LOC=31,BNDRY=DBLWD
STORAGE OBTAIN,LENGTH=(R0),LOC=31,BNDRY=DBLWD,SP=0

My understanding is that If I omit the SP parameter (scenario 1), the system
uses a default subpool of 0. Meanning both statements above acquire storage
from the same subpool.
Is My Assesment Correct ?
.
.
Regarding Common Storage SP253 or SP241
STORAGE OBTAIN,LENGTH=(R0),LOC=31,KEY=(R10),SP=241
When the SP parameter is specified for Common Storage SUbPool, it is My
understanding, the Requesting program does not need to be in Supervisor State
Key 0 to issue this form of STORAGE OBTAIN, HOWEVER the program does need to be
in Supervisor State Key 0 to modify this storage.

Is My Assesment Correct ?
.
.
Paul
