and at least as relevant to point out that Sony also did not announce:
* a tape drive;
* completed tape media;
* attachment to any type of system of the tape technology it didn't
announce;
* a new Walkman based on unannounced tape technology;
* a new Sony factory in Antarctica;
* a cure for cancer.
Sony only announced a tape material density demonstration of capabilities.
