Look in your client FTP.DATA for things like these: CCONNTIME, DATACTTIME, DATAKEEPALIVE, DCONNTIME, DSWAITTIME, FTPKEEPALIVE, INACTTIME, MYOPENTIME Perhaps enlarging these values could help you, or just wait for an idle time like after hours or so and try again.
