I am looking for a sample JCL which JUST DOES the download of RSU package
MCS and HOLDATA to /u/users/smpe/smpnts.
The IBM provided JCL has Receive which i dont want as of now.
As already suggested, use the TRANSFERONLY operand on the RECEIVE
FROMNETWORK command. Or, use the GIMGTPKG service routine. Use the
FROMNTS operand on the RECEIVE command later when you are ready to
receive into your global zone.
But I have to ask, why don't you want to receive the PTFs and HOLDDATA
into your global zone now? I suggest you should always want the very
latest PTFs and especially HOLDDATA in your global zone.
