Caveat: insert the delay for daily digestion here... John: aside from Lizette's response, I find OMVS=(00,10,11) in SYS1. PARMLIB(IEASYS00) which points to BPXPRMxx members. I also find START UNIX (a proc with Mount commands) in COMMND00, with START TCPIP, & START SMTP later in our local start-up processes. Hope this is helpful.

I noticed that my IFAPRD member in parmlib was not obsolete and this caused TCP base not to start. Does TCP base actually start OMVS ASID? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
