@Shmuel, "MVS Assembler Services Guide" says of AMODE 24/RMODE ANY "This combination is invalid because an AMODE 24 module cannot reside above 16 megabytes." I'm not sure how you would execute an RMODE ANY macro with a 24-bit address in the PSW.
So I think AMODE 24 pretty much implies RMODE 24. That's why I moved the executable macro below the line.
