How many non-vendor employers these days allow their staff to flounder around 
learning code that would require a recovery routine, let alone how to institute 
the latter - and pay them for the pleasure.
Not many I trust.

So the cabal "in the know" becomes ever more incestuous. 

A very enlightened former contributor to this list and I have had this 
discussion till late at night. As have others I'm sure.
