Can you see how SMFRTEST is called? With what SUBTYPE and SUBSYS parameters?

On what z/OS version do you see that anomaly?

Do you see if IEEMB838 is front-ended or not?

Please post the SMFPRMxx if you can.

Do you see other SMF exits?

Only CA which gives RC=00 for SMF type <= 90 except two of them? What are they 
doing with that macro's results? Granted, I believe they want to avoid weird 
abends, but I will not tolerate that misleading story.
