Hi David,

I've always allocated an alias for OMVS datasets to get them out of the
mastercat and put them in my TECH catalog (some places call it SYS), or
whatever user catalog you normally catalog system components in.  In
most shops, there are not enough OMVS filesystems to justify a separate
usercat.
