Does this impose a line length limit?  ISTR getting a warning from
SuperC that only 150 columns are compared.

Does it read the data set twice, or use a cache for the second?

What hash?  CRC-32?  MD5?  SHA-1?  ...?  Can you choose?

(I tried to RTFM on Knowledge Center.  Real hard to find what I want.)
