As announced (IBM United States Withdrawal Announcement 915-107, dated June 2, 2015), z/OS V2.1 will be withdrawn from marketing on January 25, 2016. It's recommended you place your order at least two weeks before that date, to make sure that there are no problems with it, and it will be completed by January 25, 2016. Note that z/OSMF V2.1 will be withdrawn from marketing on July 25, 2016.
While we're talking announced dates, notice that the End of Service date for z/OS V1R13 was announced to be September 30, 2016 (IBM United States Withdrawal Announcement, 915-163, dated August 4, 2015).
