Ow, by "secure 3270" you meant console with logon required, I first thought you 
meant encrypted 3270 connection.

You can technically use the HMC console to change the console to 
LOGON(OPTIONAL), I wouldn't go that route, as Allan said, ask the access team 
for a password reset.
