I mean that the NY Times article also did not mention all of the non-mainframe technologies impacted; for example, they did not mention that Dell would by implication be acquiring the RSA encryption and SIEM businesses of EMC's. My point being that the omission of the mainframe from the article should not be taken as a mainframe slight but rather as an indication of the technological superficiality of the article.
