Can you audit all your in-house code to assure that nothing uses Unicode services? What about indirectly? Can you electively disable Unicode services and observe what fails? (Can you zap the evil bit on? Or zap the CC mask in the test so it always takes the "disabled" path? Yah, I know: OCO.) I assume the repair is to test the correct bit, ignoring the correct store of the system clock.
