I hadn't noticed that, not speaking French. It would _amaze_ me to have a
PC running for 23 years. But, then, I have a PC which has been running
since about 2003 here at home.
Well, I had "bridge computer" in my home. It was PC 286 1MB RAM, with
5,25" HDD (40MB) and DOS, kept for Bridge computer game and some other
ancient games.
It was placed on the side (against HDD rules) and fell several times.
Finally power supply switch (yes! ON/Off switch!) broke and I removed
it. It was approx. 17 years old.
Another example: our very first computer in the company (actually, this
sub-company) is still working as a display of some PCOMM screens. It is
approx. 19 years old. However it's "modern" Pentium MMX with 16MB of RAM
and huge 2-3 GB HDD.
