Yes, of course. As someone who DOES process them.

Subject: Anyone interested in a brief tutorial on SMF record
design?
Sent by: IBM Mainframe Discussion List <[email protected]>

If anyone is interested in a three-page tutorial on how to design a "user"
SMF record type please write me off-list at charlesm at mcn dot org and I
will forward it to you.

I'm doing this for feedback. "No salesman will call." I don't have an SMF
report program or an SMF record writing tool to sell you. I am working
with
a partner company to help them design a user SMF record and these are the
guidelines I have come up with. The only "catch" is that I would
appreciate
any feedback that you might have after reading it.
