Very true! I tend to help people who are NOT anonymous.
Hmm. Four(*) follow-ups (plus this one), and only one
(mine) in response to the OP. If you don't want anonymous
posts, don't show the enormous power anonymous posters have
to hijack threads.
The OP's main points are not controversial. But, it's hard
not to see a response his post as taking sides in the
outsourcing threads. My thoughts about outsourcing are
complex and nuanced. I did not want people to believe
wrong things about my beliefs. Thus, no signature on that
post and this one.
(*) If you see only three, it's because you're reading the
listserv rather than the newsgroup.
