Hopefully Hilario only wants "end users", who should not be logged in for days at a time. For RACF ids which are used by long running started tasks, such as a CICS region, he would have to know if they were "up" during the time frame in which he is interested. This could greatly complicate things because z/OS doesn't generate a "STC xxxx is still running" type SMF record. Hum, perhaps SMF type 30 subtypes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 would need to be examined as well. Especially subtype 2, which is an "interval" record and so comes out periodically (as specified in the SMFPRMnn member). -- "He must have a Teflon brain -- nothing sticks to it" Phyllis Diller Maranatha! <>< John McKown ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [email protected] with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN
