Jolita/Steve

Do we need to implement another value for the MODE system symbol to facilitate
the IP configuration for LIx3 systems in Madrid primary site (Torrejon). We
also need to consider the OSA/IP configuration for the Madrid DR site (Yecora).
If so, what should we agree on so that you can build your member names.

MODE=P              Gloucester/Slough production
MODE=T              Gloucester/Slough DR test
MODE=M            Madrid DR ????

The value of the REGION symbol will be:

Gloucester          REGION=A
Slough                  REGION=B
Torrejon              REGION=A
Yecora                  REGION=B

Thoughts?

Andrew

Hi Jolita

That is a good result.

Can I have some idea of dates when the IP addresses will be allocated ?

Vaidas and Mike W agreed the OSPF settings on the meeting last Wednesday.

Vaidas, can you please produce a diagram showing this info as per the webex
last Monday ?

Cheers

Subject: OSA set up for Madrid

Hi all,

I had a call with Steve regarding the OSA set up.

On Monday it was agreed the OSA design with Networks were IBM and Bankinter
attended.

Now LIL3 and LIT3 are running separately so it was agreed to leave it the same
in Spain, so the set up should be:
There are two OSA cards with 2 ports.
LIL3 will use port 1 on OSA 1 and OSA2
LIT3 will use port 2 on OSA1 and OSA2.

So networks need to provide us IP addresses and we need to agree OSPF settings.
 We also need the IP address ranges that would be configured for the OSA's. It
must be a different ranges to ones we already use in Gloucester/Slough.
IBM Hardware and our networks need to make sure they agree on what cabling is
being used.

Steve, correct me or add anything if I have missed anything.

Tracey, so could you please advise me if this is what you wanted to have a call
about?

Sorry if I got confused anything.

Thank you,
